Diagnosis
Occiput convex with occipital margin rounded; scape and femora dark brown, tibiae pale brown to dark brown; scutellum smooth and shiny; forewing speculum closed below; first gastral tergite smooth with very weak reticulation in posterior 1/3; female gaster elongate and acuminate, MM/LG = 0.5-0.6, 6th tergite 0.8X as long as width at base and 7th tergite 1.4X as long as width at base; entire body metallic dark purple; propodeum smooth and shiny, without anterolateral foveas, submedian grooves missing or indicated and reticulate. Similar to gongylus but female with frons metallic dark purple and male scape widest medially. See also glomeris and trochus.
